Sizdah Bedar

April the 2nd marks Sizdah Bedar or Nature's Day in Iran. The rituals of the day include releasing Sabzeh (sprouted greens) back into nature and knotting the greens. Iranians stay outdoors in deference to the importance of nature in the overall balance of life on Earth.
