Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, held a telephone conversation on Saturday night to discuss regional and international developments.

During the call, Araghchi outlined the latest regional developments following the United States' breach of commitments and violation of the provisions of the Islamabad Memorandum. He criticized the irresponsible approach of European countries toward regional developments and the European Union's interventionist positions regarding Iran, stressing: "Because of its double standards, comprehensive support for occupation and genocide, and its inappropriate positions regarding the US-Zionist military aggression against Iran, the European Union lacks any moral standing to lecture others on human rights."
