On the commemoration day of the great iranian poet Omar Khayyam
Omar Khayyam of Nishapur (5th–6th century AH) was a Persian philosopher, mathematician, astronomer, and a poet of quatrains during the Seljuk era. Although his scientific status is higher than his literary one and he was known by the title “Hujjat al-Haqq,” his fame is mainly due to the quatrains attributed to him, which have gained worldwide recognition.
